This activity was such great fun and it got the delegates interacting from the very start of the workshop.
It was interesting to see which animals had been chosen and allowed these new managers to open up and talk about their reasons for choosing this animal in a safe environment.
Great activity and very easy to facilitate.

I've used this a few times, but most recently, a few weeks ago with a group of newly appointed managers.
This was a great exercise for getting the delegates to consider the qualities and attributes of those leaders that they admire and to explore those qualities and traits in relation to their working environment.
The delegates really got into this activity, describing the meal they would make and the conversations they would have.
This exercise was a resounding success, and I am eager to continue incorporating it in our future training sessions.

My group loved this ice-breaker. We used it just after lunch, so it was good to get everyone on their feet.
Given that our delegates were from various parts of the U.K. but working for the same organisation, the ice-breaker was instrumental in helping them discover commonalities and build their professional network. It was a valuable opportunity for them to connect on a deeper level.
Short & lots of laughter was had.
Definitely use it again.

I used this with a group of participants currently undergoing many organisational changes. It was a really good activity to get them to consider changes they would like to make (personal or professional) and what is holding them back.
I paired up the delegates to discuss what they had written and for the partner to use coaching questions to look at helping them to break down barriers that they may have.
Very engaging, and it allowed open and honest conversations to be had as a result.

Very simple session but easy to deliver - handouts were useful and good interactive exercises for delegates giving them opportunity to look at some good (and poor) aims objectives.
